Psycho-educational Evaluation Basic Testing:

  • Wechsler Intelligence Test (WISCIV)

  • Wide Range Achievement Test (WRAT)    

    • Psychological test assessing visual-motor functioning, developmental disorders and neurological disorders for children from 3 years to 21 years of age                      

  • Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales (VABS):

    • A semi-structured interview to measure adaptive behavior and support the diagnosis of intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and developmental delays. Areas of assessment: Communication, Activities of Daily Life, Social Relationships, Developmental Delays

  • Bender Gestalt Test

  • A measure of oral reading fluency and comprehension with two forms and 16 developmentally sequenced reading passages with five comprehension questions each. Reading specialists can tailor it to specific needs

  • Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test- IV

  • An untimed test of receptive vocabulary Standard American English to provide a quick estimate of the student’s receptive vocabulary ability

  • Ekwall Informal Reading Inventory:

  • Graded reading paragraphs with comprehension questions that measure silent reading comprehension, reading fluency, and word attack for pre-primer to 9th grade levels

  • Three reading tests: Word Recognition, Reading Vocabulary Comprehension, and Comprehension Passages determine the grade level at which students are reading and comprehending the materials in their school programs from pre-primer to ninth grade.     • Measures grade levels and skill deficiencies from kindergarten to college

    • Subtests: Calculation, Math Fluency and Applied Problems

  • Key Math-Revised: A Diagnostic Inventory of Essential Mathematics

    • An individually administered mathematics survey for students functioning at levels from kindergarten through the ninth grade. The diagnostic information it yields is extensive, covering performance on the total test, three areas, thirteen subtests and forty-three domains

  • Math Graded Placement Tests

    • Pretests and posttests determine the estimated grade level at which a student’s computational and word problem-solving skills fall between first and eighth grade
